چکیده
Os estudos contemporâneos sobre o corpo, advindos das ciências cognitivas, têm possibilitado novos olhares a corporalidade na dança, performance, no teatro e nas artes cênicas em geral. Principalmente partir do filósofo francês Maurice Merleau-Ponty, com seu livro Phénoménologie de la Perception (1945), atravessamos marcos importantes,como Teoria Enativista, proposta por Francisco Varela, Evan Thompson Eleonor Rosch, The Embodied Mind, Cognitive Science and Human Experience (1991), relevante trabalho linguista George Lakoff filósofoMark Johnson, Philosophy in the Flash: embodied mind its challenge to Western thought (1999), ou ainda, Being There: putting brain, body, world together again, autoria Andy Clark (1997), apenas para citar algunsnomes recorrentes teses, dissertações artigos campo cênicas.
